Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Central Serengeti

  • Depart from Arusha (by road or flight) and head to Serengeti National Park.
  • Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge/camp in Central Serengeti (Seronera)—home to lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
  • Afternoon game drive to spot predators and grazing herbivores.
  • Overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Central Serengeti

  • Early morning game drive—best time to see predators hunting.
  • Explore the Seronera Valley, known for its high concentration of wildlife.
  • Visit the Retina Hippo Pool to watch hippos in their natural habitat.
  • Sunset game drive before returning to camp.
  • Overnight in Central Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains & Great Migration Experience (Seasonal)

  • Depending on the season, head to:
    • Western Corridor (May–July): Watch herds crossing the Grumeti River.

    • Northern Serengeti (July–October): Experience the dramatic Mara River crossings.

    • Southern Serengeti (December–March): Witness the calving season for wildebeest.

  • Picnic lunch in the wilderness.
  • Afternoon drive in migration areas.
  • Overnight in Northern/Western Serengeti (seasonal) or Central Serengeti.

Day 4: Morning Safari & Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • Early morning game drive for a final wildlife viewing.
  • Drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with wildlife spotting en route.

  • Overnight at a lodge near Ngorongoro Crater.
